New pics I of my hatchback, take a look please

Hi everbody, I said I'd take some new pics once I got my new exhaust installed. I wish the muffler was stainless, but I wasn't willing to pay a stainless price. Let me know what you think of the pics. The backgrounds are as good as I can do without traveling a hour or more. Camera is Nikon FM, Fuji superia reala film. These scans by walmart really stink this time, but for only $7 bucks and in 12hours time I won't complain to much.

Jim, why can't I take pics like that? Mine are always goofy looking. I guess I just don't have the patience to go out and find a decent background like you do. I also don't have any real camera equipment.

Your car is so nice and clean. Almost perfect except i think i hear it screaming "TINT ME". That would finish her off.

Well backgrounds can be a blessing and they can be a curse. It helps to look for something that does not draw unwanted attention away from your subject, which is your car. Like the pics I took that have the cows in the background. They give the pics a homey kind of country appeal. But on the other hand, they draw a little to much attention and I should have set the camera up to blur they out of site. Just ask yourself before you press the shutter button, what kind of picture would this be without my car here? Also never be afraid to burn up the film. If you go out to take pics of your car, burn up a roll doing it. I took about 30 pics to get the ones I posted.

Joe their are certain area's that their scanner doesn't pic up to well. They tend to have that wavy line thing going on. I get much better scans from www.dalelabs.com and www.imagexperts.com

Jim if you are shooting print film any lab with a Fuji Frontier 370 minilab should do well. I work at a camera store and our frontier scans are better quality than 3 MP digital cameras. Basically I bet no one at wal mart knows how to work the machine.
