Well, I'm assuming it must be an 88-89 model you're working on. If that's the case then you can take the lense out. There is a screw in which you're gonna have to loosen up first. It is fairly easy to take out the lense. Ok, here's how to loosen the screw. Take off those plastic pieces at the bottom of the bumper and you'll have to look up from there to locate the screw. Once you've loosen the screw you can then pull the lense out. Once you get the lense to come out, you can splice it open. It'll be much easier if you had a blow dryer and a thin knife or something stiff and thin (flat). Once you can get the clear lense out, then you can get to the orange piece. After getting the orange piece out, putting it back together would be the reverse. I'd say use silicone to seal the lense back together. Oh, the clear kinda silicone. And my apologies if this doesn't make much sense. Good luck.

Nope, I wish they were easy as the bumper ones though.

well i know we can take out the reflectors in them, but i wanted to know if its legal. I see people driving around with no reflectors in any of their lights. I think im going to just take out all of the refletors they look super gay.

You can take out the amber reflector buy legally you're supposed to have amber lights for your turn signals which means you just have to buy amber bulbs.

No. 86 and 87 are a little different from 88 and 89. This could only be done on 88 or 89 unless you have those year bumpers on your 86 or 87.
