    Brembro Brake Disc Question

    I just installed new Brembro Brake Discs and I noticed in one of the discs that there is a black wire running serpentine through three of the vents between the faces. Any clue as to what this is? Should I go back and remove it? My Dad suggested it might be to hold a tag on but I did not remove any tag. I thought it might be some sort of balance weight. Thanks.

    there should be no wires.

    may be it's and indicator to tell when the discs need to be changed ( for cars equipped with that option ! if any ! )

    I called All OEM Parts.com. Answer: it is a sensor for antilock brakes!

    Well you must be special then b/c we don't have ABS in the US.
