    looking for audio

    I have a Pyle cd player with Sony 6.5's in the doors and a set of Jensen 165 watt 6x9's in the rear
    getting rid of the 6x9 for 1400 watt 6x9 from ebay!

    AWESOME!

    if i was you i would get rid of that Pyle of shit cd player and get some thing nice like Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, or Clarion.

    hate to tell you but theres no such thing as 6x9s that handle 1400 watts. or did you mean 140. but yeah, burn that pyle cd player and buy a real head unit

    save some money, and for about $100-150 you can find nice cd player on the ebay.

    why the fuck would you buy 1400 watt 6 x 9's that im pretty sure dont exist, just buy a decent set of pioneers, infiniity or cadence for like 100-150

    1400 is max power. which is not true power. you need to look at RMS power. RMS is power you will be running all the time.

    I looked up that model number and it appears that those speakers are made by Pioneer and that the real specs are:

    240 Watts Max. Music Power (60 Watts Nominal)
    Sensitivity (Efficiency): 92dB (1W/1m)
    Frequency Response: 30 - 32,000Hz
    4 Ohm Rated
    Dimensions: 10-5/8" x 7-1/4" x 4-1/2"
    Mounting Depth: 3-1/4"

    There still really decent speakers but you better be using an amp to power them or your going to get clipping.

    yeah those are like 60 watt speakers. 1400 watt 6x9s do not exist and if they did you would need a serious amp to power them. do some research on car audio before you go telling people that you have 1400 watt speakers that are really only running at like 25 watts a piece. hahaha
