    Exclamation Old School Honda Rims

i bought some old school honda rims. they are 10 spoke 13s. they look pretty nice. for $60 with brand new BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires, im not gonna complain. not to mention, they only weigh 28lbs with the tires!!! they hold nicely. the pic u can see if when i first brought them home. they were quite dirty, and ive since cleaned them up. im going to polish the mirror finish aluminium rim. its kinda dull. i polished a small part and it turned out nice. so on the weekend i will do some work on them. they are the pic with 4 wheels on the driveway. hope yall like em. ill get some pix with em on the car.

the 10 spokes are cool. i just hope you turn the whitewalls in.

i seen the ones you drew on a 2g lude. i would try hard to get the ones you seen. they looked really nice.

Yes, I gotta question for ya. I heard someone saying this the other day. What does it mean to have black sidewall showing, or turn the white sidewalls in, as aforementioned. I mean, it sounds like you're talking about turning the doggone tire inside out! Help me out here, so my humble ignorance does not last any longer...

nice car. how well does the dupli-color vinyl/fabric spray work? what is it's staying power? do you HAVE to completely pull the seats to redo them? the shop did a nice job getting your car back to its old look.

whitewalls are the white lettering on the tires. turning the whitewalls in means mounting the whitewall side of the tire on the side of the rim that faces inward.

89accord: i used the fabric spray on the headliner in my pinto, the finished product looks awesome. i tried to rub it off, and couldn't.

mike: those rims are f*ckin sweet. old hondas rust REALLY bad here, so old rims are hard to find...pretty jealous

Well it took a lot of work to get them to look like that. I bead blasted them and then had a friend seal them, paint them, and clear them. Then I got some sweet 185/70 TR13 Yokohama Avid T4's. I haven't did a launch with them yet. Don't want to wear them down b/c I'm going to drive them to Ontario this year.

naw im not gonna turn the white letter side in. i already have em on the car. they been on there over a week and are realy nice. im gonna clean them up a bit more with my aluminium polish. with a lil bit of time, they will look great. i want em to look newer than they do.
