i'm planning to install opel's 14" rims with 49mm offset (195/60 tyres). is the offset too big? if not, what are the widest tyres you guys reccomend , that don't rub?
thx![]()

Hmmm, I don't see any reason why you can't run them. Only concern I have would be with the center bore diameters. And I don't know what the accords center bore diameter is. I also don't see a problem with tire width, since 195 is pretty much it for 14". If you want wider tires, you really should run 15", since the tire industry is more supportive, giving you the 205/50-15 tire size, whereas you really don't have a equivilant 14" 205mm width tire.Originally posted by rehv_Aerodeck86

I don't think anyone makes a 205/55-14 tire.
On a side note I do thing H&R makes 5mm wheel spacers that would work. Problem is $$ $110 for both ends of the car, ouch!
And one more bit of info, we do have members that run 15" with 45mm offsets and 205/50-15, without any rubbing problems. So that's another reason I think you should be trouble free with 49mm offset and 195/60-14. If you don't need all-season Falken Azinis sports would be your best tire choice.
H&R springs revalved Bilstein front struts, koni struts in the rear 195/55-15 Dunlop W-10's Dc Sports header custom cat-back with Dynomax super turbo w/3" Brembo slotted & dimpled rotor's EBC pads
Well, that's what I used to have, wrecked, 7/3/02.
Now I d
3g center bore should be 56mm.. maybe the 0.5mm isn't a problem then?
one point , why i want 14", is that roads here are very bumpy and full lof holes, so it doesn't rape the car so much .
thx jimgoing to install today
