there is a switch on the right side of the steering wheel. it puts the headlights up and down without turning the lights on. check and see if that's it.
one of my 88 lx's is up for parts. good engine and transmission. pretty much everything is there. the fenders and hood are bad but other than that it's pretty good.

RIP my beutiful 5g coupe. May the villans rot in hell!

maybe the switch is bad. that or a short somewhere. i highly doubt both motors would shit the bed at the same time.

I doubt it's a switch. When Honda made our headlights, they made them so they would default in the up position if the motor failed. I'm unsure if both lights are supposed to go up, or just one. Anyway, turn the little adjustment knob behind the headlights and see if it does anything. If you hear a click noise, something is blocking the path of the light.

I have a spare DX so maybe i'll try the switch out of that. If not that then i'll try screwing with the motors. Thanx Guys!

Could be the relays, when I had my accident I remember the body shop guy saying somthing about if the motors get stuck or held down for any reason the relay's have to be reset to get them working again.

Not necessarily true. When I had my accident, my drivers side was stuck up. I just turned the knob and beat the damn thing down until it would work again. Works great now.

Hey I had the same prob., look under the dash where the fuse box is. You will by a chance have a plug with like six wires not plugged into its grey box alittle ways up. Hopefully this helps.
