    Fuel economy is SHITE!

My fuel economy is awful at the moment. I reckon the car goes through an extra half as much as it did 3-4 months ago. At the moment, fuel is fucking expensive in Australia, so this really sucks.

I'm guessing the car just needs a tune up or a moderate to large service because its pretty much due for this anyway...

Whats the best option to do?

    easy on that pedal buddy.

do the normal tune-up. that might be all you need. have you noticed any loss in power or just bad gas mileage? I dont know what you pay for gas there but in california its about 2.09/gal so I just try to take it easy, but its hard to do so I useally dont.

hey man, yeah, fuel is hell expensive....
I drive about 600km's a week (highway driving)
    i get,

9km/L - racing, flogging the shit outta the car.
    10.5km/L - mixed driving
13km/L - ultimate highway ease on the accelator driving.

What is your fuel efficiency like?

american people, and some conversions.... although, i think this thread topic has been posted before....

Come to think of it, the tires could be contributing a little bit cos I havnt filled these ones up for a while.

In terms of power, the car is a bit sluggish at times, other times its fine. Generally, I'm pretty sure it just needs its comprehensive service because its due. Didnt have the minor service that long ago, but god knows when the last tune up was done because I've only had the thing for 6 months.

I dont drive it over 3.5 on the tacho either really. Hardly ever do I take it to 4, so I dont think its from caning the car...

Yeah, get a full service done (or do it yourself)
air/fuel/oil filters, plugs are good to replace.

I run 40 PSI on the front
    36 on back (TYRES)
