man i havent been on here in months i had no idea my car was going to be the subject to so much ps but if anyone as any questions on the install i would be happy to answer as did help in the installation of mine with moonscryer its really quite easy just make sure you have a drill and your grill insert from your oem hood

i remember when you guys started the group buy for the cf hoods. it's nice to hear that we can still get them, if we want. I also find it cool to hear from Paul again. I've been wondering how it was going with the aerodeck. last i heard, it was in a garage that was kind of far from his house. If you don't know who Paul is, he's the one that everyone refers to when it comes to getting gauge faces. he also has a pretty kick ass site.

I think that ricecop.com site is fucking gay. There is a certain style that import tuners have and it is different. People who talk shit about imports and their style usually drive big trucks and marry their sisters. Of course, there are some people who go way overboard, but for the most part, different is good as long as its tastefully done. Of course i'm making a generalization here, but I think its cool when somebody does something new and creative. As for the CF hood, i think it looks tight. It would be kinda cool to have CF accents on the headlights, but its not necessary. It is a pretty big weight reduction and they say every 100 lbs lighter is 1/10 off your quarter mile time.

I'll take pics when I eventually put my hood on, it's been the garage ever since I got it. I once put it on ebay, then found out shipping was gonne be insane so I kept it. dunno if I want to put it on right before winter though. oh btw, my car is black so you won't even be able to tell it's there, accept for it'll be ultra shiny compared to the rest of the car hehe

well 89cordlx if you still are toyign with the idea of reselling your CF hood look me up. it would save me the trboule of modling. one. i have acess to stuff to make CF parts but a whole hood is a pita. i was toying with some underhood stuff. but heat has definately got me concrned. im just thinking a CF trunk might be nice. CF fenders and CF upper rad support so i can leave my radiator tilted back like it is.shit maybe even some carbn fiber doors if i get really bored and have nothing better to do with my time. either way im gonna put my car on a diet and dammit im not gonn strip it down. so just give me a holler. PS im in michigan so id be willing to meet somewhere to pick up said hood.
