CF fenders??? mine from the 89 weights less then a lbs it would seem.. I took one off an 86 and it weighed two tones.

I also removed about 6lbs of mud from behind the fender, I could barely tell there was a wire harness running thru there, my fault for removing the plastic undersiding.

there shouldnt be any diff in weight on fenders..unless it has 1.9 tones of bondo on it....

Seriously... get one from a 89 and it will feel like nothing compared to the 86

It would be kinda cool to have CF accents on the headlights, but its not necessary. It is a pretty big weight reduction and they say every 100 lbs lighter is 1/10 off your quarter mile time.

I couldn't agee any more with that and it is true that a 100lbs is about 1/10 off your quarter.
