    Losing dead weight of the car...

    Like everyone, I want to get rid of the useless KG's from the car so it'll build up speed quicker....can someone please tell me some easy ones that anyone could do....wouldnt mind getting onto this soon.

    easy...hmm well thats a relative term

    i would suggest A/C, power steering, unnecessary seats. all environmental systems (if your going for track only).

    the good thing about the a/c is it takes away the extra belt to drive plus the extra wieght. some for power steering

    remove AC and the bracket.
    if youre brave remove the spare
    remove all carpets and plastic panels and door panels.

    its called gutting your car. basically remove anything that doesnt have a critical function. EVERYTHING. but at most, all you will lose is like 200lbs prolly. but this is good enough for a tenth or two im sure... lighter wheels, headers (cast iron manifold is a heavy bitch)

    if you are reallllyl hardcore, get a smaller fuel tank, smaller radiator, and start chopping metal off your car.

    oh yeah a CF hood should be worth somthing, and lighter wheels/tires should make the most difference per/lb

    I sure like my alluminum wheels compared to my 17's and steelies.
