ok..when im driving everything is fine. but it seems like when i hit the brakes theres a really loud clunking noise. Im pretty sure its only when i hit the brakes...and when i looked it almost looked like there was a bolt missing from the caliper on the drivers side front. im not sure if the bolt is gone or not..but im gonna look tomorrow. im just wondering if anyone knows what it might be
how are the pads ?

The worst thing you could do is drive with missing brake bolts. Make sure non of them fell off. You could be on the way to a big accident.
If all bolts are on, make sure they are nice and tight. Check your pads for unusual wear.
Check suspension ball joints for wear or boot breakage.
it ended up being a missing bolt...but one of the ball joints is going. thanks for the help
