The wierd pull thingy....(i have no clue wtf it is)

Theres this what you could say a rod, that can be pulled out, its on the left side of the steering wheel and below it. People have asked about something near the vicinity on this board and were answered that it was the tilt feature for the steering wheel, well i pull it, and try to move the steering wheel and nothing. So does anybody have a clue what it is? i can't find the manual for the car, and considering its 16 years old, Im not suprised that i can't find it. If any of you say i should have done a search, shuttup, i looked and did not find the information i needed. If you know what im talking about, please post. Thanks in advance....

Pull out, then push down, then adjust, pull up to lock in position. You gave up looking to quick, it's answered in the Frequently Asked Questions section.

oh c'mon guys....don't worry, i didn't figure out that was tilt steering until 8 mos after i had the car LOL stupid me, but the way they made that really was unorthodox. Pull the thingy out and while holding it out push down firmly. that should release the wheel. When you got it where you want it, push it back up to lock the wheel in that position. Hope that helps

Honda figured since the Accord was the most stolen car, when someone jumps in ur passenger seat and is pointing a gun at u, telling u to get out, u can give em the boot
