If you are talking about where the hose from the air filter on the carb is going behind the battery, that is the intake cowl from behind the bumper for the fresh air. Assuming it is fresh that is

its the bottom right its a black box like 6 inches long and has a 3 fingered black tube goin to it, what do i do when i put the intake on doi jus plug the hole up
The 3-finger is the silencer. It quiets down the bubbling sound of the air suction. All you do is just remove the silencer and you do not need to lug the black box it connects to. Just make sure you disable the diagphram where that black box is connected to.
