Thumbs up Front End Conversion Possible?

Hey ya, guys i was thinking about doing a full front end clip conversion from the 89-91 Civic. I think it will work if it does I can get a front bumber and make my accord look sweet.

To do it right, your gonn ahve to do alot... You'd have to do new fenders, like cutting the accord ones in half and then blending in the civic fenders, you'd have to get the hood to line up and then weld in a new core support which seems like it would be to short lenght wise, then do the head lights and bumper... It could be done, and that would be the way to do it, but I'd say do the jdm conversion, or just buy a civic if you want that front end, it would be cheaper- unless you could do it all yourself... but things like that can be done, I have a friend who has a 89 hatch and he just finished putting an 00 civic si front end on it, and it looks perfect, everything lines up perfectly and you can't even tell where the different fenders start, its just spot on all the way around...

If you want a new front just get a new car with that front end... unless you can do it yourself its not worth the money and if you go on to sell your Accord later you will never get back what you paid for the conversion...

I believe they only did the headlight conversion on their cars, not the whole front end.

yea your right but thats how far anybody should go if they would want to change the front because it would cost way too much money to change everything else

one of my 88 lx's is up for parts. good engine and transmission. pretty much everything is there. the fenders and hood are bad but other than that it's pretty good.

RIP my beutiful 5g coupe. May the villans rot in hell!
