    Give me opinions.
    2 pairs of 180 watt 6" sony xplod ($120)
    2 800 watt 12" sony xplod ($160)
    1 1000 watt sony xplod amp ($200)
    1 pioneer deck ($210)
    1 box (duh) ($80)
    1 amp kit ($30)
    $800 total

    now all you need is 4 channel Sony xplode to run 4 speakers, and you should be set to go.

    i heard that sony amps are horrendeously over rated. how does that one work?

    my system sounds great, no problems. they're not dvc, they're sony.

    ohhh, for you information DVC stands for dual voice coil.

    They are horrible over rated. I have two 760W 2channel amps that I used for the front and rear speakers and they can barely handle my 60W Polk Speakers.

    that's why I asked, those 1000 watt sony amps only put out that power at rediculously low impedances. I have some 75x4/300x2 ones that kick pretty damn nice, I've killed a few lesser speakers with them
    but those new ones piss me off. I saw it at best buy and I was like "how can that amp which is smaller kick more than mine?" and then it said like 35wx4 @ 4 ohms lol

    i had some of those a long time ago, they sounded good for like 3months, then as you turn them up more and more they start to bottom out and sound like crap, start saving money to upgrade them now, because you will want to shortly
    86 white hatch LXi with 5spd swap and full system.
