    Question Moldings

Aight i got my car painted and the moldings that go around the car look all gray and shitty on the nice shiny car. I want to take them off cause i bought decals to put on the sideof the car. If i take them off how much of a indent into the door is there gonna be?? and do you think that is gonna look aight or no???

personaly, i'd shave them... i know it sucks because you just got her painted. However, the cleanest cars i've seen have the moldings either shaved or color matched...

no not sand it down he means removing the molding and fill it in with something to even it out. Its better to do it at a professional paint or body shop

Just paint them black or have the shop paint them the same color as your car

i would just paint them black but i bought decals for the doors of the car, so it wouldnt look right goin over the top of the moldings. As far as being shaved and filled in i am goin to maaco(where i got it painted) and i was gonna see bout them gettin takin off but i guess im gonna find out if they can shave them for me. U thhink Maaco people are capable of that kind of work and if so how much do you think this is gonna cost me????
