my lx, when it was carbed with a fucked up idle and bad thermo valve, i ran 10.8 seconds and that was when i shifted from 1 to 2 at 3k. I sure damn will test it out whith my Herbie2 this summer.

Sidenote: I did 9.84 sec with my 4g. and yeah its full auto and auto.

    15.2, driving normally. I shifted at around 2750 rpm (1st - 2nd), 2800 rpm (2nd - 3rd), 2900 rpm (3rd - 4th), and roughly 3000 (4th - 5th). My mods are shortram Matrix Civic intake pipe with APC filter and lots of stickers.

i somehow managed to do 9.2 secs with my 4g tonight. I had my buddy use his gtech pro. Well, lets see what this auto 4g does with an intake and exhaust, better yet, we will see what my wonderful herbie2 will do in a matter of weeks.

7.8s is a sweet time. The quickest time i have seen a 3g do so far is Paul who did 8.8s i guess.

i roughly run at around 11 seconds.... it's a manual, stock car.... actually, i got a prelude ECU in there, but i don't think that should affect my rev limiter, nonetheless, i shift (when racing) at 7,000 rpms. i'm taking my car out to autoX next time it comes through my area. it'll be dope.

if ur car is stock, ur power cuts off at 6500rpm or so once u hit the red line. Why would u still wanna shift at 7K?? it makes no sense unless u wanna put stress on ur motor and then blow it up.

Hell if I know what my time is. Is there a thread on here or something that has all the stock 0-60 times? I'd like to know..

Condition of car and age will definitely not give you a time as good as when the car was tested new. I'm only speaking stock for stock.

the best time i ever ran a 0-60 was about 9.6 sec. and it does depend on when i let it shift. if i take it up to the redline, it does worse. unfortuatly i dont have a rev limiter. guess thats not always a bad thing. but if i shift by hand, it dosent do as good as if i let it go by itself. its auto. the worst time ive timed was a bit over 10 sec. need to try it out again since ive replaced the wires and got it running fairly good.

What would you guys say I do? I have never tested. But I'm running all stock other than a K&N Filter, mint condition DX, automatic, 1988 4dr. Sedan.

We did 3 different runs and took the average. I have a rebuilt (overhauled) engine, rebuilt tranny, rebuilt carb. flipped air cleaner lid, removed vac lines, 2.25in headers back piping with no cat. no res. dynomax Super Turbo exhaust. Individual parts were tweaked to help performance throughout the engine. I have the Enkei CDR9 rims that you see in the pic and Kumho Ecsta Surpa 712's. My average time was 8.7 but I pulled a 8.6 If can remember correctly. That’s one thing that I love about my 3g, the acceleration is incredible for these cars. I raced my buddy's 02 lude (h22) and I had him on the launch and through second. Then you can guess what happened... I got roasted. I was so excited though. Once I get the cam regrind and headers I think my modding will be complete. BTW it's an auto. Thank God for the tranny rebuild. If I let into her all the way she shifts a 6100 in every gear and on the open road she stops at around 5500 rpms in 4th and will max out at 122mph.
