damn Dan, I hope that escort driver got an earfull from you at least. It's really a shame to see such a nice clean 3G get smacked up like that, but a great thing to hear that you're keeping her and fixing her up. How are you through this whole thing, injuries, etc.? I know it doesn't look like the Escort hit you too hard at all, but I do know that the 3G is a battle tank and doesn't always show just how much force was behind the impact. Off topic, but how's that tranny holdin' up?

Thanks for asking Mark! My brother and me are alright. He was in the passanger seat and said that he was just fine. Everyone else in the other car was OK too. However from the back of their front tire to the front of their backtire is all pushed in, they cant open the passanger side door.

There's about 1000+ dollars in damage to each vehicle.

The tranny is doing alright. I'm kinda getting sick of having an automatic though. I'll probably do a 5 speed swap while the car's off the road next winter. I'll be in college and insurance isn't going to be cheap. lol.

I got the police report today so all that's left is insurance company notification.

    Later!

you're lucky. i have an 89 dx that was hit on the opposite side and it pushed the enitire front clip 2 inches to the right. other than that the only thing was damaged was the hood, fender, and headlight assembly. it's a real shame the car was perfect otherwise. i guess it all depends on how it's hit.
one of my 88 lx's is up for parts. good engine and transmission. pretty much everything is there. the fenders and hood are bad but other than that it's pretty good.

RIP my beutiful 5g coupe. May the villans rot in hell!
