    strange idea for a rollbar.

K, so i was looking at the mounts for the dirver and passenger seat belts... the one just about head level... anyways... i was thinking of welding a brace between the two... not perfectly straight across... it will knotch up a bit to meet the roof then be mostly straight in the center.

after that... well I'm not sure... I was just thinking though.

maybe add an X with a vertical bar on each side... no more reclining my seats

if its a big enough X. ur racing seat should be able to fit in the gap of the X <---- right there. Anywho, even a reg box cage would be fine, instead of the X. but i guess it does not help chassy twist.

i was talking about the individual bar that goes between the seatbelt brackets that he was talking about

Just putting a bar in there would be a good idea for mounting a 5 point harness but its not going to give any roll over protection.

man I've envisioned what you're talking about mike, I was thinking one day (daydreaming) about making removable targa hardtop out for my sedan it would need a roll bar over the top and it would look like the frame of the car and have a removable glass top for the front seat and the back
