    weber question

yeah i'm not super mechanically inclined and i'm putting a weber into my 89 dx hatch, is there anything special i need to do to my engine to make this work??
i've read some weber dealer sites and they confuse the hell out of me by saying u may need to replace fuel pump and linkages and etc... is this true? its not THAT hard is it?
its not how fast you go, its how fast you get going.

    Weber install instructions

MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER: PLUG THIS HOLE!
Use metal putty to fill the hole and file it flush once the putty has cured.

I'd guess that it's a large vacuum hole not used on our cars. Methinks it would be similar to unbolting your throttle body while the engine is running... at which point, see the picture above.

nope it's just the opposite of that... you'll drown the engine in coolant. That hole is a coolant passage to heat the carb.
