    Question Need Body Kit Advise

of course, since im fixin up my 3gee, i wanna get a complete body kit. but they are quite expensive considering the one i want is $650+. i already have Erebuni side skirts. i got them from the junkyard for $20 a while back. 2day, on that same car i got em from, i looked at the rear bumper since the trees and grass and shit that was around it died. ok, so i see that its all nice and not cracked. i just need a screw driver and maybe a small pry bar to get it off. i asked the guy how much i can take it for and he said $20!!! so what yall think, should i buy it? or should i get a brand new one. considering its in near new condition. nothing more than a bit of paint would be all it needs. also same with the side skirts. i dont think i should just let that rear body kit just sit there and risk some one else taking it. tell me what u think about it.

Personally, I'd get it. You're getting something that costs $100 or $200 for only $20 and it may only require a re-paint. That, and I don't believe the body kit parts come painted from Erebuni anyway in which case you'd have to paint it regardless.

Get it and paint it and save some money.

hey, i got it! it was one hell of a bitch gettin it off! there was some stupid malibu pushed up against it. i tried to get the accord out of gear, but its not like mine that u just push the button in and move the shifter to nuetral. this one requiers the key to be in or put it in the gear unlock slot. its an '89 SE-I. only year it came in. anyway, i got this rear body kit off. only bad thing was i had to crack it in half to get it off. i will just need to fix it with some resin and paint it. i may paint it black or red. but if i can get my friends cousin to paint it, im going to get it the same champain beige paint as the car is. im wondering if i can buy that resin or if i need someone over 18 to go with me.

Here's two places that make body kits that will fit:

    http://www.kaminari.com/
(http://www.wickedbodies.net/ sells it for about $577)

    http://erebuni.net/

And this place below sells a body kit by Xenon (check the Xenon kits) that was made for our cars. I haven't been able to find the Xenon website for their kits so if anybody finds the manufacturer's website I'd appreciate it if you'd post it.

basicly, all the body kits offered for our 3gees will fit all the bumpers. the side skirts are a differnt story. and i think the only body kit bumper that wont fit is onto the hatch backs back bumper. i dont think it makes much differnce what kit u put on ur 4 door cuz i think even with the different 86-87 bumpers they should fit up the same. my car is an '87, but i have an 89 back bumper. i think im going to get all my fiber glass stuff fixed, painted and mounted for abour $200. my friends cousin will be able to do all that stuff.
