if i swap a a20a3 form an 88 or 89 lxi in my 86 prelude will my 5sp tranny off my et2 bolt up? and how about my wire harness, but now that i think about it i can get one of those. ok and my stock mounts should worka nd i got to run a return fule line to the tank. am i forgeting anythign???
as far as i know the engine mounts are different for that year lude even though they have the same engine. and the tranny I think did bolt up. There was a discussion about that a little bit ago, but i can't remember were. Try using the search button and look up prelude AND engine.

the prelude mounts with the Accord engine will work fine.
The Et2 is the 1.8l engine?

yes the et2 is a 1.8, and yea im pretty sure the mounts will work just a bit sketchy on the tranny
if you use your ET2 flywheel/clutch/pressure plate/starter, you can use your transmission on the A20A

but i heard that the clutch is too weak to handle the a20?? is that right? because it if is i want to get a tranny form a a20 lude because the gearing is better

If you're affraid to burn the clutch, just get an ACT clutch.
The 1.8L has a sportier gearing. The A20A lude has a nice gearing too.
