Ok, the pics are crappy, but I shot them with the purpose of showing me the differance of before and after I lowered the car. Now a member has asked me how it would look so I'll post the pics here, nothing special.

I wish I could get my front just a bit lower. Oh well....

Just modify either the pinch fork, by shaving it down shorter up to a 1/2" or shave off the front brake hanger's off the struts themselves, that will allow the strut to sink down a extra 1/2" into the pinch fork as well. To get brake hangers again, just go to honda and purchase a pair of 94 civic strut/brake hangers, it's a seperate part, have a shop tack weld them on. With either mod it will net you exactly 1/2" more lowering in the front.Originally posted by 86AccordLxi

Will I have negative camber then on the front since it will be lower than 1.5 inches?

Alexhmmm man, I never thought of that. I dunno. Your basically lowering the whole strut assembly, kinda like drop spindels. I dont' think it would, but I wouldn't bet you the price of a camber kit

Yeah...i'll just deal with the little bit of extra gap...it's no biggie and my car still handles beautifully.
Alex
hmm lemme see what i can dig up. i will get back to this thread!![]()
Reducing the ride height will change the static camber (more negative on our cars) using the stock control arms. It doesn't matter whether it's lower because of shorter springs or modifying the pinch fork.

Thanks Jim for the Pics--
Mine after lowered sat too low in the back I could barely fit a finger between the space -while the front was about 3 fingers.
But after I moved that spacer on the back strut -I am HAPPY NOW!! (doesnt have the saggin butt syndrome) YIPEEE!!
Very nice pics you took. I really like the third one, very professional. You even had the front and rear rims rotated the same and matching. Very nice...
