I go to a high school of about 3000 kids..

And I swear that if you took 1 of 10 kids that drove, they would have an accord. Maybe not a 3g, but I see tons of 2geez and up.. Anyone else notice this... Accords are probably the number one car in our lot... That or civics, but accord > civic....

maybe thats true in Colorado, but at my high school, well last year when I went there, there were tons of nice cars... Tons of BMW's, a few Lexus's, Jeep grand Cherokee's, and a few really nice Hondas, one was my buddy's 00 si, it was a total show car, with a $3000 body kit and tons of other stuff, but there were a lot of rich kids there so mom and dad paid for their cars, not them, but still there were some nice cars there...

most of the 3g accords are real POS. at least here in eastern Canada. I'm not affraid to say I got one of the cleanest 3g accord in Quebec.. Most of them are driven by students or immigrants.. they are cheap for a honda, reliable and tons of junkyard replacement parts are available...

Not to mention they're faster everyday.... rust lightens the body

Hahah... I went to highschool in a midwestern hick town with a population of 2,500 peeps. I don't think there was a mercedes/bmw/lexus or any other expensive car in the entire town, lol. My HS had about 200 peeps, and only ended up with a graduating class of 20. So as you can imagine, not too many people drove upscale cars. There was only 2 Hondas, one girl with an 85 Accord, and another BITCH with an 89 Prelude (got I hated her...actually the whole school did. But they all fucked her anyways cuz she was hot, and she was a whore, lol). I dind't have my 3g back then, it was my moms. One guy occasionally drove his bro's '81 Civic, which had 280k miles at the time, lol. I had my '94 Ford Ranger, but most everyone else drove a beat up old 4x4, or old Bronco/Blazer/pink Geo Storm/etc. The mayors kid got a nice new Dodge Dakota though, that the drunken mayor bought for him (stupid mayor got a DUI in his own town, by one of his own cops, LOL)

I HATE spoiled rich kids with such a passion....

    Hahahaha :lol

On second thought, I go to EvCC (Community College) since I'm a senior doing running start (high school and college credits at the same time). Anyway, theres about 10,000 people who go there, and on an average day I see 20 3g's at least, and all of them are a real POS. I've only seen one with actual care given to it, but mine still looks better. I wish people wouldnt treat them like a POS, I mean they can be, but goddamn if you take care of them they last forever. My parent's 3g has every single service record, every single fill up at the gas pump, every person who has touched the car... logged in a little book. There isnt shit wrong with that car... it looks new inside and out (with the exception of the accident I was involved in with a guy losing his truckload of wood GRRR)

yeah i am not saying our cars are POS's but they are cheap, and they last forever, which IS why we all have them.

honestly. would you have bought a used 3g accord with 100k+ miles on it if you didnt have to? i dont think so. look at jim, one of the most knowledgeable and helpful members on here. and the first chance he gets, buys a real nice car!
not that the 3g's are bad, because i love mine, but they are not high end cars. and there is nothing ANYBODY can say that will ever change that.
ps, they are not fast unless very special attention has been paid to them.. kthxbye

that said. my hs had about 1200 peeps, and most of them drove ricers (civics with tint/mufflers) or hick trucks (plenty of hick trucks) there were a few really sweet lowered s10's that i really liked, but thats about it in the cool car dept.

My old HS was up over 2,000. My graduating class was 538 and that was back in 1983. I just happened to be looking at my old yearbook and we had everything from those matchbox size 70's Civics to Ford pick-em-ups. Back then I had my 72 Catalina, another one of those cheap, indestructible cars.

Now, when I look at the old HS lot the cars pretty much still run the gamut. I knew two guys in HS with rich parents. One drove a new Corvette and the other got a 300ZX for graduation. A friend of mine bought himself a brand new 83 Trans Am, but he had to give up his entire social life working at Kroger to pay for it!
