Exclamation My Front Arm Rest Finaly Re-covered!

i had got my SE-I armrest a few months ago. if u couldnt guess, the leather that came on it was cracked to shit and dried up. neway, i had the idea to re-cover it with some fabric from my old back seats arm rest. i just used the material from it because it was in realy good condition. my grandma sewed it together and i just stapled and trimed it to fit nice. then i dyed the fabric red to match the arm rest in the back seat. it looks realy nice. this black and red interior is going together realy nicely. it goes good with my stock champain beige paint. now i just need to do the fabric in the door panels and also the plastic/rubber that came in brown. i need to take some pix of it tomorrow since it will be sunny. should look great with the dash in red. i have the whole summer to do that.

yep, i used duplicolor spray dye. it worked pretty well. i may get some heavy duty dye that doesnt fade at all. i will have to take the fabric off and soak it in dye. but for now, that spray dye works alright. i did just have to re spray it. but it is a lot easyer than dyeing it another way and haveing it fade out just the same. i may do the plastic center console red also, but i think it looks best in black. the rest of the interior is getting new colors. the top portion is going to be red, and below the rubber/plastic part above the fabric on the door will be black. it will do best black so it doesnt show dirtyness. i have the money to get all of this done, but i dont have time this time of year cuz of school.
