vinyl dash interior repair

Hey everyone, its my first post on this forum but i've been reading alot of posts and they are always helpful. I recently bought a 89 accord lx with blue interior but the front dash has a little gash in the vinyl just above the glove box to the left. Its about 1 cm, kinda looks like a crack in the material. I was wondering if theres any good repair kit or some way to make it better. I'm most likely going to paint the interior later so even a good glue or filler would help. Any one know any products?

i would just go to a junk yard and find a new one, but on the real just use some bondo and fill it in and then respray the dash!! that is what i did in my girlfriends car!! it came out pretty good!

i was thinking of going to the junkyard but didn't feel like spending cash becasue of a small cut.

I'll go next week and scope out the junkyards. Maybe i'll get a good deal .
