White Face Gauges and More Fusion.

I finally had a chance to paint more of the bumper moulding and I took my gauge cluster apart to paint the bezel and decided to put white gauges in there.

Totally rockin' nice job. I'm glad you showed some pics with the steps you took painting the trim, it'll help when I decide to do something like that later. Looks awesome, I plan on painting some of my interior later also, something similiar to yours. Keep up the nice work!

BTW: is it easy to get the interior componets out? Do they just pop out or what? Thanks, looks great.

    89AccordLvr:
The gauge cluster is fairly easy to take apart, one you have the cluster out of the car, the clear part just pops off after pushing a couple of tabs in. Getting the needles off is also fairly easy cept for the fuel and temp. I had to cut the print out and tape it back together on the back once i had it under the needles. I got the bumper right from erebuni. I think the address was http://www.erebunicorp.com. But call them don't just order the front, you can usually get a price break on shipping if you find out where they have a local dealer. The red and green car are the same kit I think. One is JDM and the other is US?

blazin2gen: The paper was Kodak Premium PIcture Paper - 59 lb, 220 g/m(squared), 8 mil, High Gloss.

I really appreciate all the positive comments. I really wasn't expecting such a great responce. Night Pictures to follow shortly.

I didn't really pick it so that they would go together, I picked it so they would contrast and make the car stick out.

why would you wanna stick out by making your car an eye sore? I think it looked real nice before, now it looks like you are trying to hard. How about painting the whole car that color? Than it will stick out, but not have a million different blues.

blazin2gen: It's really easy to see at night, I'll have to get a shot like that for you tonight.

3g Jester: The wheels are 16x7 Konig Elans, however I don't think there made anymore.

89AccordLvr: The bulbs are still in the gauge cluster however they're nowhere near as bright as the LED's. The photo paper is pretty thick so I just used the screws that held the gauges on to hold the print outs on top. The fuel/temp guage is on with double sided tape.

TJ89Accord: First of all let's not go all extreme here, there are only two blues on the outside of the car and I would have the car repainted if I had the money right now, but I don't I just spent most of my free cash on lowering springs and koni struts. Also the blue isn't quite as bright as my camera makes it out to be. Talk to stizl he's seen it in person.
