it looks be carb ( LX ) so there is no ECU to check !

ohhh, mike.
91 accord LX had EFI enigne.
Go to any respectful garage and ask them if they can read the codes. make sure you ask them to show it to you. this way you will know what is the problem.

no fool! read your owner's manual. it will tell you about the maintenance required "light". It is not a light at all, nor does it tell you that anything is wrong. It is just like your odometer numbers, it is a little wheel that turns as the miles go up. Instead of numbers, it has a green yellow and a red section. All it does is tell you that you are nearing the number of miles that is recommended by honda for you to return for regular scheduled maintenance. ie, it has been 30,000 miles or whatever since that counter was last reset. I assume you never reset it yourself, so I assume the dealer reset it. See that little key sized hole next to it? stick your key in there to reset it.
WTB: 4th and 5th gen OEM headlights and corners in good shape. Even single lights.
