    gas mileage?

what's the most miles you've gone on a full tank of gas before you've filled up? i usually go about 330-350, but right now i am at 422 miles on one tank of gas. i usually get about 35-37mpg.

I get 330-380 on a tank. I only use 11 gallons at a time. The most I have ever put in was 12.

I usually get around 330 or so, and it takes 11-12 gallons. My highest mileage with a/c off was 34.50 on a trip from Chicago to Sandusky, Ohio. Highest mileage with a/c on the whole time was 32.69 on a trip from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Orlando. It usually never drops below 28, so I'm happy

Mine pretty well depends on how often I go to OKC. I'll get a good 350+ on that road trip. But stop n' go around town is usually between 330-350.

When I got my car I babied it so I was doing 30mpg. After the honeymoon was over I was doing 26-27. Winter came by and I was doing as low as 20mpg. My drive to work is <5 min so the choke and high idle was killing me on the warmups, which were longer than the drive. The gas is getting better too coz I'm now at 24mpg and climbing. Soon I'll remove that choke till next winter but it wont get better than 26mpg with stomping the gas, always > 3000rpm, and > 75mph normal driving.

wow, u guys are lucky. i fill up w/ 11-12 gallons, but a lot of people are saying that 3g's have 16 gallon tanks. when i usually fill up i'm at about 170-190 or so. but after i heard about that 16 gallon thing i've been riding it out and i'm a little over 200 right now and the light hasn't come on. for some reason the last quarter of a tank on my guage seems to go the farthest. Isn't there still 2 gallons left when the gas light comes on?

i average about 22mpg and roughly 400 miles to a tank. i try to never let it go all the way to E though so i really don't know. But these days i find my self at E more than ever. that's not a good thing to do though because you suck up all the shit in the bottom of your tank. i usually only get $10 myself but if i give somebody a ride and they offer to fill it i always check my mileage. those chances are few and far between though. man, i need money.

I used to get to 450 miles and the light wouldn't even come on so I'm sure I could get more.

    Mine works!

I usually don't let it get that low, but every now and then it happens. Never ran out though!

Been doing quite a few highway miles with my carb LX lately. On the last tank, I got to 482 which was just a bit after the gas light went on. I have been averaging about 34.5 mpg. I'm really happy with that. I think it went up a few mpg after I fixed the LF wheel bearing and got an alignment after the new springs/struts.

I got 24mpg during the winter with one of the spark plugs only firing sometime, but since the tune-up after failing emissions I get 26mpg. The reason it is so bad is because everywhere I drive I am either passing people for short amounts of time then stopping, or stopping at every stop sign on back roads. During a gas tank worth of driving (about 340 or more) I spend at most 30 miles on the highway.
