looking for inexpensive transportation

alright... i'm in the market for an inexpensive car... here's what i'm REALLY wanting:

3gee, any year, color don't matter at all
hatch or sedan most wanted
LX or better if possible
moderate milage (i'll go to 200,000)
minor problems OK, and if i can get one with a title that needs a motor or tranny, then that's good... means cheaper, but NO MAJOR RUST

looking to spend less than $1000, $500 or less would be better

i'm in north/central FL, will pick up... not looking to buy at the moment unless a really killer deal comes up, which it may... i mean, why not at least see what's there?

Vanilla, have you tried looking on Autotrader around you.
there are many used 3G. So what it has little rust. You can fix it later.

well, most everything that goes up on autotrader has an asking price of blue book... i will never pay that for any car, especially a car that's several years old

since i have such a small budget, i'm stuck to fixxer-uppers and the such, and i still want a 3gee... i was just hoping someone had one with a bad motor sitting out back or something like that

oh, and rust isn't a huge thing, i just don't want a car that's gonna need a lot of rust repair
