I dont' think they'll stop you because of it, but if you're put under an emissions test, you won't pass without a cat.

dont worry there's not emissions test in florida or at least in orlando. If you find a body shop you that you kno someone you could straight pipe your exhaust system without a catalyic converter. Police here dont really fuss on loudness of muffler as long as you dont abuse it

Just have to try and if the cops give you crap just get a cheap universal muffler welded on or anything of your choice.

The other night i got pulled over and the cop tried to tell me that my muffler was illegal Bc it had no baffles!! He said nothing about loadness but he tried to say was just a straght pipe muffler!!!! So, make sure you have a muffler and it has resonates of some kind!!! I have a bored cat 2.25 and a APexi N1 turbo!!! COPS SUCK!!!
