    Shit!! Is this bad?

Hey, well for the last week, it looks like the pcv valve wasn't connected to the engine. So basically the air wasn't filtered. What does that feed and how bad is that for the engine?

    Thanks.

The valve? the valve doesn't get filtered... the valve releases blow by gasses from below the pistons.

If the hose from the Valve cover was disconnected then the oil inside the head will get dirty. Which is bad.

You might want to pop your air filter out and see if there is oil in it. Just thinking that the lack of suction on the PCV hose might have sent oil vapour into the filter through the cank case vent tube.
Perfection is simply a matter of replacing parts.

Why does taht valve go back to the air filter if it just has oil vapour?

From the Haynes 84-89 accord manual:
"The PCV system reduces hydrocarbon emissions by scavenging crankcase vapors. It does this by circulating fresh air from the air cleaner through the crankcase, where it mixes with blow by gases and is then rerouted through a PCV valve to the intake manifold... If abnormal operating conditions arise, the system is designed to allow exessive amounts of blow by gases to flow back through the crankcase vent tube to the air cleaner to be consumed by normal combustion."
Perfection is simply a matter of replacing parts.

your car won't idle without a PVC valve, you are probably talking about the breather hose. I don't remember the stock valve cover but I have an aluminum one off a prelude that has a baffle chamber so it would be hard for contaminants to enter the valve cover, the Accord one should be similar. Your car isn't going to suffer
