Honda accords are notoriously known for doing that especially the 4th gens.

I have a similar problem. When coming to a stop when I release the clutch the engine drops to about 400 rpm for a second before stabilizing at about 650 rpm idling. Is that what ours does?

I recently replaced the spark plugs and it seemed to help a little, but they did have 35k on them.

I've also having the same problem but it's intermittent. (I think) if I take a long drive then let the car parked for a coupla hours, then drive again, it does that. But, it's difficult to pinpoint

Same here. It doesn't cause any real problems; it's just an annoyance. The Honda serivce manual says the mot likely cause is the EACV (electronic air control valve). Once it cools off this fall I may take a closer look.

Yeah, eacv is probably the most likely...not activating. If you take it off, you get about the same dying idle.

    Could be clogged egr valve.
Take it off and clean with carb cleaner.

Could also be a dirty carboned up throttle body inards. If you can find "carbmedic" its a yellow can banned in CALF. This stuff will clean off stuff left from "gumout". Spary directy into TB with engined reved up. Even a little carbon in there affects air intake.

It is most likely a clogged EGR valve. Clean it and go for a drive. Check to see if your ECU is throwing out ant codes. A code 12 (12 flashes) means your EGR.

either your EACV valve is funked up or the EGR is not shutting properly... those are the most likely causes
