    Idle problems

My 89 Accord Se-i does not idle properly. It likes to bounce between 1000 and 2000 rpm. I took it to a shop they wanted to do a $1000 worth of stuff to it. i dont think it needs it. Im thinking maybe temp sensor on intake or something. Any ideas?

Change the idle air valve. I had the same problem in 2 87 LX-i's and changing the idle air valve fixed it. They both idle right around 750 now.

What is the $1000 list of to-change parts?
This topic is popular. Just do a search or look in the EFI section.
