fuel or trans probs?

i really need someone's help right AWAY?
when my auto trans. is in 3rd with normal driving it's fine.
but when i go into WOT while in 3rd, it downshift's to 2nd the the rpms goes too 4-5 and the engine seem's like someone cut some of the fuel off or something."surge's" in a way.
then at 30-40 mph between 1900-2200rpm's the engine kinda sudder's.
then when i take off some time's itkinda act like it want to shut off plus i belive it backfire's.
when i take off though into WOT in 1st it goes all the to 6k rpm's
fine. can any one help?
this did'nt start til monday.
plus the fuel filler line is kinda messed up so i'm thinkin when i go to put gas in the rust goes in the tank is this a sign of a bad fuel filter?or what?

how long was the last tune up?
i say change fuel filters, distributor cap, distributor rotor, spark plugs, wires. clean the carb.
if that doesn't help. you need to find fuel cut off relay. i don't know where it is. never had a chace to change it.

i chaged the plugs, the wire are still new, the rotor, as for the fuel filter's i think that's the problem
cause for one since i have this recall on the fuel filler line and whenever i go to fill up some of the gas leak's out.
since it's rusted some of that rust is going into the tank. so that's more likely the problem right guy's?
