It all helps with the fine tuning of the engine to get the most power, really necessary for turbo guys and for lots of juice. For NA it's not completely necessary but if you want to squeez out that extra 5-15 hp then you want one. In the end it is a worth while mod esp for the money.
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.
