    Darn ECT Sensor

Damn this sucks. I took my car in to my mechanic for a few small things and i told them about the code 6 that the computer was flashing. They found out that a couple of the wires going to the temp. sensors were missing. No prob, they put those in and tested the sensors. It turns out that one of the sensors was bad, so they have to track down another one. They finished everything, except finding the sensor, yesterday morning(one day after i took it in). So i called yesterday b4 they closed to see if it was ready, nope they still can't find a sensor. My mechanic told me he would find a used sensor and have my car ready in the morning(this morning). i called this afternoon after work and now he is saying that they couldn't find a used sensor, so they would have to order one, so they should be done in the morning. This blows. My car is gonna have to spend a third night in front of the shop and on top of that, the shop isn't open on weekends so if my car isn't done by tomorrow, i'll have to wait till monday. I can't believe this shit is taking so long.

Best to do it yourself .
Or just take the car out. You can still drive with a faulty ect sensor.

The sensor has been missing since i bought the car a year ago. I'm gonna call the shop pretty soon to see if its done. I'm pissed that it's already been in there for 3 days, it better be f**king ready today. I've never worked on cars so i would've had one hell of a time trying to fix it myself, plus i would've had to order the part b/c there isn't any here in town.
