Check with your local NAPA store, if you have one. When mine blew five years ago I tried every other place in town (Auto Zone, O'Reilly's, etc.)

NAPA was the only place that had it in stock and it was $26. Every other place was over $100. When they told me that I said, "Are you sure it's the right hose?" The guy said, "Why does everybody ask that question?"

Anyway, check there and see if they still have them that cheap. Quality-wise it seems OK as it has held for over 50,000 miles and seems to be intact.

they were telling me 3 hour minimum for a dealer install...and thats like $180 for labor and the part is $160 from them...so far i have found it at 2 honda dealerships..one 160 one 116 and advance for $58...they were saying it will take me about 8 hours to replace it..i was looking on a parts site with pages from the repair manual and it looks like it is only a 3 foot section or so i need to replace..but then again i dont know

The hardest part is when it curls back to the power steering rack.

    not that bad actually

you've gotta clean all the crap off first..it's really nasty at the bottom end. Line wrenches a must as well ( you may have to spray liquid wrench and wait..depending on local conditions. I did mine on the ground with the car jacked on the driver side..pull the rock shield off..and have a good light..maybe 3 hours to do it..and an hour to clean yourself up.

It is not a real easy job, but cetainly doable within abotu two hours. It is a pain to get it snaked down to the rack. I had a set of flare nut wrenches which also helps at the rack end.

I got pretty damn grimy doign this job as well!
