    cam vs. gas mileage?

I just ordered a cam from Delta, a 272 grind. I was just wondering how this will affect my gas mileage? Right now, I average 31 mpg with city/highway driving. How much worse gas mileage will I get after installing it?

does it matter? you got the cam... and possibly once you install it how do you plan on driving... easy, or agressive?

My Openloop cam didn't bother my fuel economy one bit. Raising my fuel pressure however, did. :lol

You'll probably see your gas tank emptying a bit quicker for about a week or two when ya get that cam in just from you enjoying the hell out of the added power. Happened to me and just about everyone else on here.

yeah you can run it in a stock engine... you just won't get the full use of the cam is all.
