    alternate gauge cluster

has anyone replaced their gauge cluster with a different set or does everyone have the same stupid Honda one? After screwing mine up a bit I'm considering something different

Yeah but can you hook up some kind of external sensor so you can use the other MPH guages?

cause I don't have my guage cluster installed anymore... and I tried hooking up one from the 86 DX and it didn't work at all so I need a new MPH guage with sensor.

Right now it's just an empty dash with a carpet over the top... looks kinda neat... and makes it seem like you can see more with the window no longer covered up.

I have TACH and AIR/FUEL RATIO and VACUUM and OIL PSI guages.

I would love to throw some fiberglass over my custom dash then recarpet it... using the crapy carpet underneath as part of the molding process.

does anyone know how the guages light up at night? is it from the light that sits above the cluster? or from lights behind the cluster?

well if your talking about the accord gauge cluster than the lights are coming from in front of the gauges, not from behind them. if your talking about the indiglo gauges then just send me an email and i can answer any questions, as best i can.
and if you guys have any questions about anything that has to do with the gauges, i can help because i swapped out my dash and i have also put in the indiglo gauges in such so....
