If you were to set you cam timing advanced oje tooth would it be better to have your valves ajusted with the UP mark on the cam sprocket aligned at tdc or when the fly wheel is at TDC. Would their be pros or cons of either way such as bad running.

there should be no diff in valve adjustment after you advance your timming.

Well if the valves open earlier or close later then they are supposed to... you might hit a valve with the piston
you'd probably have to adjust it by the flyweel...
and make new marks on the cam sprocket...
but I'm not sure... thats why I don't mess with it.
