    Question Paint Struts?

It it ok to paint your struts? Not the shaft that moves in and out but the body of the stut. I just got the rear Koni struts that I ordered and was wondering if I could paint them in preperation for installation. I am going to use high temp engine paint.

It doesn't have to be high temp. I sprayed mine with ppg yr-59m (stock color) about 4 years ago and its still held up fine. Except of course the scratches from taking them off and on.

I want it to match the drums and calipers that's why I'm using the high temp.
