    Funky CD player

    my 89 LX came with a CD player already installed and radio shack speakers. at first (back in oct/nov) it would cut on and off when I went over bumps. after a little while, it got better, but it still sucked in the cold. around chirstmas/janruary or so, it stopped flipping on and off. Now it doesn't do it anymore...but the other day, I started it up and the CD didn't come on (???) so when I got to an intersection I turned the car off and restarted and it worked fine. any idea what's up?

    Crappy wiring... try taking it out and looking at the wiring harness and see if some of the wires look odd, or loose.

    more specifically, look at the ignition turn on wire...

    I had a Pyle did the same thing I blew it up
    now Have Blaupunkt very very happy now
