    Question Rough idling.

I've had my accord for over a year now and it's always had a pretty rough idle. Missing occasionally. I've never really worried about it, but now it's starting to get to me. My timing is perfect, adjusted by the Honda dealership, new belt and all. I've replaced the entire ignition system, except the distributor cap and components. Has anyone had any related problems, yet tried a solution different that mine and had it work?

Hmm, this seems to be a recurring problem here... I've heard solutions from ignition timing to idle mixture to valve lash. I personally would lean toward valve lash. I've had the same problem and replaced/adjusted many things and adjusting valve lash seems to help the most. Also, get some of that engine restorer fluid. That helped my engine a little too.

CHECK FUEL FILTER, CAP, ROTOR, PLUGS, WIRES, FUEL PUMP, COIL, PRESSURE REGULATOR, VACCUUM HOSES, EGR VALVE, PCV VALVE. Just some pointers. Could be you're idle mixture screw too.
