Changing strut..do I have to...

Do i have to get an alignment after i do this..

I have a broken coil and i got a whole strut with coil from the wreckers and need to know if i actually need to get a alignment...it doesnt look like they affect anything....

I ve been putting off chaning it till i had more time because i thought i needed to get an alignment but ?????

it wouldnt hurt to get one. when was the last time you had an alignment?

I dont know when the last time was i just bought it a few months ago...
So i wont need one right away if i change it though>???
I will get one but want to change it to get rid of the poor ride.
