I don't know sh*t about amps, could someone pick one out for me?

Alright, this is my set up

I've got an Alpine HU. It's the CDA-9811 model.

    http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/carau....asp?sku=13217

In the back I've got Infinity KAPPA 693.5I 6x9's

    http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/carau....asp?sku=12496

And it the front I've got KAPPA 52.5I

    http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/carau....asp?sku=12493

I'm looking for a multi channel amp that can push the back speakers and the front, but at different watt levels so they don't blow the front speakers.. I want to be able to almost peak the speakers for some loudness! But I don't know what to look for or what to look for, I was wondering if someone could find an amp for me that can suit my needs.

    Thanks
    Aaron

    ok here is the problem.
i don't see why would you want them to be at different watts.
if you really want that, you will have to go with two 2 channel amps, but it would be stupid.
if i was you i would get one 4 channel amp. you can adjust the front or back speakers with gain controlers.
Ok here are some amps you may want to think about it:
i have this amp in my car and i am pushing 4 6.5" Alpine speakers. It is lound enough for me. http://www.ikesound.com/Prod_Details.asp?Prod_Id=793
here is the website you may want to look at
    http://www.ikesound.com/1024.htm
it is all depends how much money you are going to spend on amp.

'Cause the back speakers are 330 watt speakers, and the front are 160.

I don't know how it all works though so what I'm doing is probably wrong..

A Dawg Jr: You dont need different watts. What you need is something that matches your back speakers. Then when you connect your fronts just turn the "gain" level down on the amp.

Second, 330watts is your maximum you can push them which really doesnt mean squat. RMS wattage is what you need to be running.

RMS = root means square (basically the average watts)

I checked for you and your back speakers are 2-110 watts RMS, meaning you can run them in this range safely for any continuous time. So then you find an amp that runs somewhere in the 100 watts RMS range.

This amp is 50x4, which isnt pushin the full potential but will mos def. get the job done. To find an amp that will push a true 100 watts RMS your gonna spend money. Alot of it.

    cheap amp~>http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...0&I=130GMX574+

    more expensive amp~>http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...0&I=236T404+++

an amp that matches watt for watt~>http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...0&I=575851X+++

Go to alot of the mobile audio sites like www.sounddomain.com and www.crutchfield.com and read there how-tos and faqs. Then decide what you want.

i don't see why you want your rear speakers sound lounder.
it will throw sound ballance out of control.
you don't want lound sound comming from behind you. you want sound to be in the front of you.

well it sounds an awful lot like you know good to decent sound by the stuff you ave now. The fact your otproclaiming jensen or pyramid which is usually in the section. Ive been in the industry for quite a few years now and if i were you Id go with the jl audio 3oo/4. It wont give you the 110 watts you are looking for but the snd that you will gtfrom this unit will put a major smile on your face. It has a biult in eq, and the jl R.I.P.S system. This means that whether yu are running 4 ohms or 1 ohm it will still produce the power it is specified. I have a 1000/1 and a 300/3 in one of my cars. f you want wel work out a good deal through my shop on the other thing I am lookingfor you hve that I want. Let me know Mike

I am a huge fan of alpine 4 channel amps. But b4 i recomend an amp, i was wondering if you have a subwoofer(s). if not, maybe you would like to get a 5 channel amp and run a single 12 or 12 of the 5th channel. Even if you dont want a subwoofer right now, the 5th channel is always gonna be there??? what do you think?

here are a few of my faves.

this amp doesnt make the 110 wats rms your lookin for, but it will sure beat the hell out of your head unit for sound quality !

this is another wicked amp, i have installed a few at work, and they are sooooo sweet... only 50 watts RMS you say? thats plenty! then hook the 200 watt channel to a 12/10 inch type r/s and you have one rockin system...

oh yah.. nice choices so far... that deck is very nice. i did a 6 month co op at a car audio shop and that was my favorite for MID level decks... and those speakers are liek one of the best in the car audio world...

if you need anymore info, PM me
