    Question Good Deal or No??

Junkyard in the area specializes in hondas, and acuras (same thing). Anyway, i asked about any motors that he has and he tells me that alot of people come there lookin for motors.

So he tells me that he pretty much will give me any motor that i want that he has for 600 bucks. Also if the car has everything on it then he will give me the whole setup for $2200 ( transmission engine mounts etc..)

The question is do the 3gee playas think that this is a good dea l? and if so would should i ask him for ? just the engine or the whole setup?

Oh yah, and lets just say that he has over 400 hondas and acuras in the yard!
So he has somethings that i could work with.

    Thanks fellas

man, i want to go there!!! It sounds like an awesome deal, especially if you can get one that has low miles and runs good. I agree with Elijah, look for a B18C1, or even a B18C5 (you'd have to be really lucky to find that). Even a B16A would be worth it. Anthing Vtec!

No.. Because U wont be able to use those things. Depends on which engine you want!! JDM B20a is the cheapest..(But parts are harder to get than other more common engines. ) what I would reccomend is: JDMB16a, B17a1, or a B18 series. The cheapest one is the JDMB16a.. next would be B17a1 {But it's hard to find one in good working condition} and then most expensive one the B18c.( out on the Integra GS-R's. These are the best engines u can fit into ur Accord. There are always combo engines like Ls/vtec or Cr-vtec.. I would stay away from the JDMB20a if I were you. Just concentrate on these engines.. You can always transfer them into other Hondas..If u really are serious let me know..

Its not really the cost of the custom mounts but the time and money in the whole setup of an h22 as noone creates mounts for it for our car.
