How much does it typically cost to run at a track? I have never looked into this... thanks.

$12~15 for street nights depends on the track. Big events are usually more but you might take home a few hundered if you win your class. How many runs you get usually depends on how many people are there.

PhydeauX: I updated your times nice job. Sorry about the delay but work has blocked this site.

88LXiHB: This trend is for 2nd and 3rd Gen Accords. Not to bad of a time though for the laser.

Johnny O: Awsome times. I know a few members have seen you run but however, It would be unfair for me to post your times with out a least a pic of your time slip and I think everybody on this board would love to see a video of this. I know I would just to show all the nay sayers out there who believe the 3rd gen is a joke. You and K-MOD need to get together and make a video.

ok i think i have the best time for the least amount of work into the car. i went yesterday and pulled a 16.2 with a 2.3 60ft time( it was hooking up ok even though the tires were spinning 1/2 way thru 1st). What are my mods? Stripped trunk, no back seat, modified stock air intake, no muffler, advanced timing, no a/c, ps belt off... little stuff like that. I got the car weighed... (i have a few other custom lighened parts into it) and it weighed 2700 with me in it, so about 2485 or so pounds (im heavy as F) not bad for an accord.

the best part about it was that my friend with his 97 civic dx with ex engine/trans (d16y8 Vtec) big catback, punched cat, stripped trunk/no seats except for drivers seat, true cai and no power steering belt with a tank full of octane boosted 93 (he had stuff that supposedly raised that 10 pts) advanced timing and the car weighed 2300 lbs and he could barely beat you boba... running 16.5

see i think if you went back to aluminum 14s and aired down the front tires for traction you should run 1-2 tenths quicker at least... what were you launching at?
