    FS - Carbon Fiber Hood

Many moons ago I put together the fabled "Carbon Fiber Hood Group Buy". My hood has sat in my garage ever since then, awaiting installation after a new paint job for my car happens. Plans have changed and I've decided to sell the hood. It's brand new, never installed, not a scratch or scuff on it. I *will not* ship this hood - please don't ask.

If you wanna come pick it up, I can be home any time of the day. If you don't have a vehicle big enough to haul it home with, drive your 3G and we'll install it together and you can leave your stock hood with me (I'll use it to practice welding on). Heck, if you drive to get it, you can stay for supper with me and my family.

    I'll sell it for $250.

CUT THE PRICE?!?!?!? These hoods were $425 when we did the group buy. 250 is a hell of a deal.

I know that seems lowballing but after the group buy was done the hoods were availible at a lower price. But not many people know where to find them, I suppose I will get many pm's now. But I know where you can get the CF hoods for $398 shipped. Site's hood is a hell of a deal if you live near him to pick it up. But if he won't ship it (I can understand why he wouldn't too) then it can't benefit most people. Actually if I remember correctly I think Site's is a few bucks cheaper than where i can get it.

You don't have no cash= your just plain out of luck.

Don't harrass people if you don't have any money to buy it.

I hate it when people lowball when its already a great deal.

well once again the westerners are out of luck. Oh well I guess thats what i get for being too lazy to get the deal when i had the chance.

Site, Could you at least let us know what your next venture willbe. Besides the new kid and family and life and stuff like that. Thanks for the great deals your offering. More than fair if you ask me. Since no one else has asked just a thought, why doesnt someone contact someone who lives near site and have them ship it for you. Id have to be a pretty trustworthy person thought huh. Well justa thought

Nah, I'm setting it aside for a bit and freeing up some funds for another project car. Just puttin' the 3G on hold for a bit.

hey i would be interested to buy it do you have any pics of it or anything , and also if i drive all the way from toledo , ohio would you cut the price any if not its cool but i would be leaving my hood that has just been painted black.. and also will it fit a 87 hb lxi
yeah it will fit your 87 hb and sure i will get you some pics wow toledo is a long way no i won't cut the price $250 is a sweet deal to begin with um don't leave your hood black

Hey Site was going on? You had so many big plans.
The plans are still there, just on hold. I need some cash freed up for another car I'm working on right now.

Site, Could you at least let us know what your next venture willbe.

I'm not quittin' on the 3G. If I were, you'd see the DCOE conversion on the board for sale. The stuff I'm selling won't be too tough to get ahold of in the future, except for the CF hood. I'm not real keen on letting the hood go, either. In fact, typing this has caused me to begin having second thoughts :lol

Lol everyone! Bah, I've decided to keep the hood. I worked too freaking hard to get it. If nothing else, I'll keep it hanging in my garage 'till the car is ready for it.

    Here's a pic, anyway.

Oh, and :lol to the lowballers!
